How much do you charge?

The home inspection cost is based on the size, age, and services required. Quotes are free and can be done by phone, text, email, or fill out the contact form from our site here.

What does the home inspection include?

A North Carolina home inspection includes Structural Components, Exterior, Roofing, Plumbing, Electrical, Interiors, Built In Appliances, Heating & Cooling, and Insulation & Ventilation. You can find the states standards of practice here.

How long does a home inspection take?

It depends on the age and size of the home, but a typical inspection can take between two and four hours at the home. If others services are provided such as a radon test, the home inspector will have to return to the home 48 hours later to retrieve the equipment and results.

When can we expect a report?

We strive to turn a home inspection report around in under 24 hours. If other services have been performed the inspection report could take longer. A water test for example is sent off to a lab for testing and has come back in the past between 48 and 72 hours later.

What areas of North Carolina do you cover?

We cover all of Western North Carolina.

Can you do a home inspection in South Carolina or Tennessee?

Our Sate license is limited to North Carolina only.

Is a radon test necessary?

Radon testing is not required, but is highly recommended. It is very common in Western North Carolina. I have found levels as high as 39 pCi/L. Anything over a 4 pCi/L is considered high and mitigation is recommended.
